Before and After | The Power of Story

It takes courage on my part to post a before and after photo. In a way it puts me in a vulnerable position. Posting the original photo takes away the Rose Wheat magic that I like to put in every shot. It's like going out in public without styling my hair. Before and afters run the risk of changing a reputation and tarnishing an image.

However, something that I believe all humans are designed to admire is the beauty of story.
Men and women alike are churned from the depths of their innermost being when they see where someone or something has been, and then they witness a process of renewal or improvement. It takes  apathy and churns out hope, laziness dies to motivation, hatred for brokeness is overcome by love for greatness.

Maybe that's a little deep for a before and after, sooc (straight out of camera) post, but I would feel like I was cheating you if I told you any less. So, here's my gift to you today, and I hope it inspires you to pursue greatness (and not another photographer haha).

All of my photos are edited in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 with VSCO Film Presets and a touch of sharpening in Adobe Photoshop. All of these combined allowed me to add some depth to the photo to make it feel like they were laying in this infinite field of grass.
