Amy + Mike | Engagement | Buston, KS | Rose Wheat Photography

They met at a stoplight. Amy and her friends had a bet going that night. Whoever got the most valid phone numbers won. A little persuasion and a few eyelash bats got Amy a number. That night she won not only the bet, but access to her future husband.

Years passed, and they talked intermittently, but nothing really happened. Not until Amy moved back home from college in Texas anyway. Sparks finally flew between Mike and Amy, and before she knew it she was standing in the middle of a kitchen before her boyfriend who was on one knee, asking her to be his for the rest of their lives. Surprised and overjoyed she (obviously) said yes.

We shot Amy and Mike's engagement session just outside of Bushton, KS. We traversed the area constructing a quaint country shoot. The light was soft, and the breeze was softer. I wouldn't have expected otherwise for these two. :)

I am so pleased to share their lovely little session with you!
