Wanderlove

Together they travel.
Pace by pace by pace by pace.
They interlaced their lives.
Scared they might unravel.

In search of water, a gift appears.
It whispers to them “I’ve waited for you,
I’ve waited for ten years.”
With this gift they will never fray.
With this gift, they know… today.

Their fears subside, as they know:
With this gift they will bind their hearts,
Tie their souls,
Laid to rest in her hair.
A vest empowers
Him to marry her there.

A crown of flowers,
Laid to rest in her hair.
A vest empowers
Him to marry her there.

With wine and bread they commune
Before an altar of lace
He washes her feet, kisses her face,
Knowing they have filled their loom.

Listen to Wanderlove while viewing.
