After a few pictures, you will quickly find out that these two are fun. Like really fun. Jamie's freaking gorgeous and so enamored by her hubby of just over a year that it makes for a deadly combo of photo cuteness.

It was majorly flattering that Jamie asked me to take some photos for her as she runs a photography business out of St. Joseph, Missouri. It has been said that the best compliment you can give a photographer is to book them, but I would like to add: the best compliment you can give a photographer is to book them when you, yourself, are a photographer.

So thanks Jamie. You guys were stinking amazing, perfectly styled, and so fun to work with. Hope you enjoyed our little photo journey through Manhattan!

Saturday was full of country loving and tender details as Sadie and Rodney covenanted to spend the rest of their lives together. The day went from sunny to cloudy to sunny again, but it made for the most delicate of light---no matter the time of day.

They got married in the Kansas country, dirt roads and all., in an open field. Their guests sat upon hay bails as they exchanged their vows, then they danced until after sundown under a beautiful, white tent.

It was a beautiful day, and I’m so thankful to have had the chance to document it for these two. Wish them the best now in the newness of marriage!
